The Women Empowered Through Awareness & Healing (WETAH) event was nothing short of fabulous!
This day was designed to inspire, heal, and empower women across our community. From the moment participants arrived for a continental breakfast, the atmosphere was charged with energy, connection, and anticipation for a day full of impactful sessions, wellness, and celebration.
The program featured healing sessions led by Jacqueline Powell, Tamara M. Williams, and Marjorie Lovinsky, offering profound insights on emotional wellness, empowerment, and personal growth. Before the presentations, guests were treated to the enchanting melodies of Christelle Saint-Juliens on the harp, setting a serene and uplifting tone for the day.
Attendees also engaged in:
- A lively Zumba session led by Lolita Zumba
- Interactive workshops and discussions on healing through sound and the socioeconomic dimensions of gender-based violence and childhood sexual abuse
- Networking opportunities over a delightful lunch
- A wellness exhibition featuring exceptional vendors from across Montreal, showcasing products and services designed to nurture mind, body, and spirit
- The event also included a raffle, where two remarkable winners shared their stories with the audience, adding a joyful and memorable touch to the evening.
